She Has A Name-- Fridays: 3 pm until 5 pm and Saturday mornings from 9 am until noon--”Women Only” outreach—prayer, care and unconditional love to women who find themselves in bondage to drugs and eventual prostitution. We offer a late lunch on Fridays (made by various individuals) and breakfast on Saturdays, feminine products, clothing and, most importantly, the hope found only in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can facilitate detox and we can send the ladies, at no cost, to Christian drug rehabilitation facilities across the country for those desiring “a way out”. A number of agencies/entities have recently come alongside “She Has A Name” desiring to provide additional practical help to the ladies on the street. We are also finalizing plans to have a small team of women visit with the ladies twice a month in the Camden County Jail. That is a great place to begin the restoration process.
Thanksgiving Eve Dinner on the Bus for the Ladies—beginning last year we began serving a Thanksgiving Dinner to the women on the street on the night before Thanksgiving. It was awesome and definitely became an instant Thanksgiving tradition. We set a table up right in the bus and were able to bring the ladies in for dinner, prayer, hope & the love of Christ.
